Dr. Mark Lipe is board certified by the American Academy of Family Practice in OKC and has over 25 years of experience working full time in emergency medicine. Over those years, he has treated thousands of patients whose acute asthma, respiratory illnesses, rashes and abdominal complaints were aggravated by underlying allergies. Working with those patients led him to seek new methods of treating allergies - without the time, expense, and inconvenience of weekly allergy shots at a physician's office. Those factors, along with cutting-edge research and an endorsement by the World Health Organization, led Dr. Lipe to prescribe his FDA approved antigen serum as a daily under-the-tongue (sublingual) drop, rather than as a weekly shot. 5.0 out of 5 iPad sign-in is great. That one little thing suggests that the entire office is "state of the art" and "up to date". We all know that all doctors are not created equal, and some even recommend treatments that are outdated. This very subtle element of the experience frames the patients mind as to where this office lies in relation to "being up to date". Need TV's in patient rooms - would also be cool if you had some sort of Allergy presentation that scrolls and auto-plays when patients are in the room. I've seen this before with Dentists - you can watch everything there is to know about a root canal for example, before you have yours. TV's Would be good for two things: 1) Indirect marketing. Tell your patients how many other people out there need help (1 in 4 and 1 in 8 data points). They will walk out thinking "I wonder who I know that is out there that needs help". 2) General patient education and helps pass time when doc not in the room. Could also accomplish the same thing with more iPads instead of TV's - but TV's are ridiculously cheap these days.
